United by their love for the oceans, founders Julie and Benjamin recognized an opportunity during the COVID pandemic to forge a more sustainable marketplace: Clozist.
Their mission is to empower consumers to easily access the best eco-friendly products while simultaneously providing American businesses (making up 97% of their offerings) with increased visibility and sales opportunities.

Clozist was born from a shared passion for the ocean, sustainability, and fair commerce.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Julie and Benjamin—two eco-conscious entrepreneurs—saw how broken e-commerce had become: global giants prioritizing speed and profit at the planet's expense, while small ethical businesses struggled to survive.
They knew there had to be a better way.
Driven by their love for the environment and their desire to empower local makers and sustainable brands, they launched Clozist — a marketplace designed to decarbonize online shopping and make every purchase a force for good.
Julie and Benjamin believe that true change happens behind the scenes — in how products move, how businesses are supported, and how we, as consumers, can track the real impact of what we buy.
