Who said you can't be a computer addict and a person with a sustainable life? Bits of recycled circuitry from a broken circuit board are the basis for these earrings. The top colored layer was removed leaving behind an intricate layer of copper. They are nestled in copper settings and covered in a domed layer of clear resin.
Because they are the perfect earrings for any ecofriendly person. They are light and bring a touch of originality to your classy or everyday outfits.
Preske owns Circuit Breaker Labs, which is her Rochester-based jewelry making company. She cuts circuit boards into tiny pieces, covers them in a plastic resin, then molds or hooks the pieces onto earrings, necklaces, cufflinks and more. She makes each piece, by hand, in a tiny studio inside her apartment.
