GFB5: Celebrating Sustainable Solutions with Uptown Flicks, Closiist, and Local Activists
We're delighted to report that last night's Green for the blue event was a big success, thanks to Uptown Flicks and Closiist Julie. The screening of Flore Vasseur's eco-social documentary "Bigger than us" was particularly inspiring, as she recorded a special intro just for us. After the screening, we had a thought-provoking discussion with local activists Andrea Reyes (NYC Fair Trade Coalition), Catie Savage (Trash Queen of Hells Kitchen), and Lynn Tiede (CSS Teacher and Green Team Leader), moderated by Alexis Buisson. To cap off the evening, Maison Sablé sponsored a delightful cocktail reception with delicious food and wine, which fueled our conversations about practical ways to achieve a sustainable future.
We're excited to share some pictures (thanks to Marie) from the event with you. Check out GFB5!
