Carbon Neutral Shipping with Sendle

Carbon Neutral Shipping with Sendle

From the beginning, we wanted to work with the environment in mind. We believe that caring for our planet is what everyone should do for a better future for our kids. That’s the reason why we decided to promote local and sustainability. But as we were moving forward with Closiist we had to find a way to ship eco-friendly. Being "eco-friendly" when we talk about shipment is a goal hard to reach. In fact, 10% of the global CO2 emissions are from transport and logistic.

We did some research and finally found a solution that fits us and who is America's first 100% carbon neutral shipping carrier. Its name, Sendle.

Sendle is a B Corp founded in Australia in 2014.

B-Corps which stands for Better Business, are accelerating a global culture shift to redefine success in business and build a more inclusive and sustainable economy).

How does Sendle ship Carbon Neutral?

Sendle basically offsets the CO2 emissions by supporting projects that reduce emissions like, regenerating precious forests, replacing old equipment with more efficient technology, or even training communities in beekeeping! Every year, as members of the Sendle community, we get to vote on which project we want to support.

In 2024, Sendle is supporting many projects around the world

We are doing more than that!

We decided to do more than just relying on Sendle to offset our Shipping Carbon emissions. We partnered with GreenSpark to offset 7kgs (15.43 lb) of CO2 per order, and remove 2 plastic bottles from the Ocean for each order at not extra cost to you. We cover the cost!

Why 7kgs (15.43 lb)?

We took the average Carbon Emission of a 2lb package sent from NYC to LA on the ground and multiply that number by 4.

Why 2 bottles?

Millions of plastic bottles pollute our oceans every year, two standard bottles are a daily recommended water intake. We're committed to cleaning them up.
