📍 About the Image
The Tribune Tower sits at 409 13th Street in Oakland. Architect D. Franklin Oliver built its six-story base in 1906, and Edward T. Foulkes added the 22-story tower in the 1920s. The design was inspired by the campanile of Saint Mark's Basilica in Venice, Italy.
