Nepal's Himalayan cashmere is recognised as some of the finest in the world — exceptionally soft, lightweight, and naturally warm. It takes the fleece from approximately three goats to produce a single scarf, which speaks to just how precious this material is.
All of our cashmere scarves are handloomed in Pokhara, Nepal, by weavers who are blind, deaf, or living with disabilities. We partner with a local non-profit that equips these artisans with the tools, training, and ongoing support they need to earn an independent income through their craft. In Nepal, people with disabilities face significant barriers in everyday working life. Weaving gives them not just an income, but dignity, confidence, and a stronger place within their communities.
The organisation also donates white canes, hearing aids, and wheelchairs; provides food and medicine to aged-care homes; and distributes relief to communities affected by earthquakes and landslides. When you buy one of these scarves, you're part of that.
