Going away for a few days — or just tired of guessing when your plants need water? Blumat Classic Plant Watering Stakes take care of it for you. Using a clever ceramic cone system, they deliver exactly the right amount of water, exactly when your plants need it. No timers, no electricity, no soggy roots.
✨ Features
- 🌿 Self-regulating ceramic cone: As soil dries out, the cone slowly releases water into the surrounding earth — and stops automatically once the soil is moist enough.
- 💧 Vacuum-driven water delivery: A natural vacuum draws water from a nearby container, keeping a steady, gentle supply flowing without any manual effort.
- 🌱 Fertiliser-compatible: Add liquid fertiliser to the water reservoir for slow, continuous feeding that encourages healthy, steady growth.
- 📏 Adapter included: Comes with an adapter for easy setup and a secure fit in your water container.
- 🪴 Scales with plant size: Use two or three stakes for larger plants with higher water needs.
- 🔧 Easy annual maintenance: A quick clean with a brush inside and sandpaper or a pot scrubber outside keeps everything working well.
💚 Benefits
- ✅ No more wilting or overwatering: Plants get steady moisture without the stress of drying out or waterlogged roots — meaning healthier growth and fewer lost plants.
- ✅ Worry-free holidays: Head away with confidence, knowing your plants are being watered consistently while you're gone.
- ✅ Hands-off plant care: Ideal for busy households, offices, or anyone who loves plants but doesn't always have time to tend to them daily.
- ✅ A thoughtful gift for plant lovers: A genuinely useful, sustainable gift for houseplant enthusiasts, gardeners, or anyone with a green thumb.
- ✅ Eco-conscious design: No batteries or power needed — just water, gravity, and a well-made ceramic cone.
📋 How to Use
- Fill a bowl with water. Remove the top of the Blumat Classic and place both the top and ceramic cone in the bowl to soak for at least 15 minutes.
- Holding both pieces underwater, tap out any air bubbles and press the top on firmly.
- Push the ceramic cone fully into the soil. For large plants, use two or three cones.
- Place the hose at the bottom of a full water container. Add liquid fertiliser if needed.
- The water level in the container should sit level with or just below the green cap. Raise or lower the container to adjust the flow rate.
🔧 Maintenance: Once a year, run the hose through hot water and clean the inside of the cone with a brush and the outside with sandpaper or a pot scrubber.
📐 Good to Know

- Typical plant water use: ¼ to 1 litre per week depending on plant type, size, and season
- If the Blumat dries out while you're away, simply re-soak and set up again following steps 1–5
