These seeds are designed to be over-seeded into existing grass for a half-grass, half-flower lawn — your "Flawn." With consistent watering, germination typically happens within 2–3 weeks. Plants start small but, once established, bloom throughout summer and fall. For best results, avoid seeding just before a hot, dry spell and water regularly after seeding and during dry periods.

Seeding is flexible: plant in spring (after the ground thaws and soil reaches around 55°F), or in late fall and winter over frozen ground or fresh snow. If starting with bare soil, add 2–4 lbs of fine fescue grass seed per 1,000 sq ft, or increase the Flawn Seed rate for a clover-dominant look.

1. Prepare: Mow your existing lawn short — around 0.5–1 inch — and lightly rake to expose the soil surface.
2. Spread: Shake the jar and walk your lawn in rows, waving your arm to distribute seed across roughly a six-foot-wide path.
3. Water: Water lightly but frequently. Keep the soil and seedlings moist without creating runoff until germination is well underway.

• ✂️ First-Year Mowing: Mow at 2–3 inches for the first year to prevent existing grass from crowding out new seedlings as they establish.
