The Heavy Loco Freight Train is a mechanical model kit built for makers who love hands-on building and moving parts. This freight train model can travel across surfaces without needing tracks, so once it's assembled, you get to watch your work actually go. It's a fun build for hobbyists, and a thoughtful gift for anyone who enjoys mechanical puzzles or model trains.

  • 🚂 Track-free movement: The Heavy Loco is designed to move on flat surfaces without rails, so you don't need a track set to see it run.
  • ⚙️ Mechanical build: A hands-on assembly project with moving gears and parts, true to the mechanical model style Metal Time Workshop is known for.
  • 🚃 Freight train design: Modeled after a real freight train, hauling cargo cars behind a working locomotive.

Why you'll love it:

  • 🛠️ A satisfying build experience: Slow down and focus on something tactile — a nice break from screens for both kids and adults.
  • 🎁 An easy gift idea: Great for birthdays, holidays, or any occasion calling for a gift that's a little different from the usual.
  • 🚂 Something to actually play with after: Once it's built, it's not just a display piece — it moves and works.

Add the Heavy Loco Freight Train to your cart today and start building something you'll want to show off.

Environmental Impact

Our efforts to reduce our CO2 emissions generated by the sending of your orders mean that today Clozist is Carbon Positive on its shipments.

With the help of Greenspark we voluntarily offset 7kg of CO2 and remove 2 plastic bottles from the oceans with each order at no extra cost to you.

Why 7kgs (15.43 lb)?

We took the average Carbon Emission of a 2lb package ground sent from NYC to LA and multiply that number by 4.

Why 2 bottles?

Millions of plastic bottles pollute our oceans every year, two standard bottles are a daily recommended water intake. We're committed to cleaning them up.
