Butter Me Up Organics was born in 2008 from a simple but powerful moment of frustration. After spending $25 on a body butter in Pasadena, founder Jillian thought — I can make this better myself. So she did.
What followed was three years of deep research into ingredients, sourcing, safety, and certifications. Every recipe is entirely her own, crafted not for cost efficiency but for maximum therapeutic benefit. Each product is still handmade today — no synthetic ingredients, no artificial fragrances, no dyes. Just pure, purposeful formulas designed to actually work.
Packaging matters too. While others pushed for plastic, Jillian chose glass, tin, and paper — because using the most thoughtfully sourced ingredients in a plastic container felt like a contradiction she couldn't live with. Every label is printed with soy ink on recycled paper, and every shipment uses recycled packing materials.
The results speak for themselves. Customers have shared photos of children's eczema clearing the same day, and teenage acne disappearing after years of struggle. Those moments are why Butter Me Up exists.

Orders are usually dispatched within 2-3 business days. 

The shipping rate is calculated and displayed at checkout. Free shipping is available for orders over $49.00 for Shakers members of our reward program, and with no minimum, for Makers members (We can't offer free shipping when the lowest shipping cost exceeds $10).

Shipment confirmation and order tracking:
Once your order is fulfilled, you receive a tracking number to follow your package by email. Allow 24-48 hours for the carrier to update the tracking number in its system.

We might ship your order in more than 1 package. In that case, you receive a tracking number for each shipment.

Your order might be delayed in case we experience a high volume of orders. If your order fulfillment is delayed, we will let you know by email asap.
