The Bamboo Matcha Whisk (Chasen) from isshiki matcha is a hand-carved whisk made from a single piece of bamboo, designed to froth matcha smoothly. It is the same whisk used at the isshiki matcha café in New York City. If you make matcha at home, or know someone who does, it also makes a thoughtful gift for any tea lover. 🍵

✨ Features

  • 🎋 Single-piece bamboo: hand-carved from one piece of bamboo, with no joins.
  • 🙌 Handcrafted by skilled artisans: each whisk is carved by hand.
  • 🌿 Fine, flexible tines: a lightweight design with delicate yet resilient tines for steady whisking.
  • 🏙️ Café-tested: the same chasen used at the isshiki matcha café in NYC.

💚 Benefits

  • ☁️ Properly frothed matcha: the chasen is the traditional tool for whisking matcha, so your cup comes out smooth and foamy.
  • 🫖 A daily ritual you will enjoy: use it for traditional tea ceremonies or your everyday morning cup.
  • 🌱 A natural bamboo tool: an easy swap for plastic or electric frothers on your tea shelf.
  • 🎁 An easy gift: pair it with matcha for a gift that suits tea beginners and seasoned enthusiasts alike.

🍃 Care

  • 💧 Rinse with warm water after use.
  • 🪴 Air-dry upright so it keeps its shape.
  • ⏳ With this care, it will keep its shape for months.
