The Bamboo Root Scoop turns an everyday task into something a little more grounded. Carved from salvaged bamboo root, each scoop has its own natural texture and shape, so no two are quite alike. It's built for scooping laundry detergent, tea, bath salts, or pantry staples, and makes a thoughtful gift for anyone easing into a more sustainable home.

  • 🌱 Salvaged Bamboo Root: Made from a part of the bamboo plant that's usually left behind, giving it a second life as a durable, everyday tool.
  • ✋ Solid, Tactile Feel: Each scoop feels substantial and earthy in the hand, with an organic shape and finish unique to the piece you receive.
  • 💧 Naturally Moisture-Resistant: Bamboo root holds up well to damp environments like laundry rooms and kitchens.
  • ♻️ Plastic-Free: No plastic, no microplastic shedding — just a biodegradable alternative to standard measuring cups.

Benefits

  • 🧺 Fewer Plastics in Your Home: Swap out cracked plastic scoops for one that won't end up in a landfill.
  • 🌍 Kinder to Waterways: Choosing a plastic-free scoop helps keep synthetic microplastics out of water systems.

Environmental Impact

Our efforts to reduce our CO2 emissions generated by the sending of your orders mean that today Clozist is Carbon Positive on its shipments.

With the help of Greenspark we voluntarily offset 7kg of CO2 and remove 2 plastic bottles from the oceans with each order at no extra cost to you.

Why 7kgs (15.43 lb)?

We took the average Carbon Emission of a 2lb package ground sent from NYC to LA and multiply that number by 4.

Why 2 bottles?

Millions of plastic bottles pollute our oceans every year, two standard bottles are a daily recommended water intake. We're committed to cleaning them up.
