On Monday, March 10, we invite you to Impact Hub for a special presentation evening. Liubov Volkova and Julie Thibault-Dury (Closiist co-owner) will introduce themselves and share our vision for the Coffee & Sustainability group.
We are thrilled to welcome John-Paul, CEO of Impact Hub NYC and NJ, who will present this incredible coworking space, filled with greenery—an inspiring place for all eco-friendly lovers!
This event would not be possible without the support of our amazing partner, Andrea and her incredible team at the NYC Fair Trade Coalition. They will share how they are fighting against fast fashion waste and promoting sustainable solutions.

We are thrilled to welcome Erin Acosta as our guest speaker! 🌿✨ Erin is the Director of Family Engagement and Communications at Growing Up Green Charter Schools, a pioneering institution integrating sustainability into elementary and middle school education. As a dedicated advocate for community involvement and environmental consciousness, Erin brings a wealth of experience in fostering strong connections between schools, families, and local communities.
A Queens native, Erin first joined Growing Up Green as a parent before becoming an integral part of the school’s leadership. She plays a key role in shaping engaging, eco-conscious initiatives that inspire students to think critically about sustainability.
At this event, Erin will share insights into how sustainability is embedded in education—from hands-on learning experiences to green-themed interdisciplinary projects. Join us as we explore how schools can empower the next generation to build a greener future! 🌎💡

For two hours, you’ll have the chance to connect, share ideas, and get inspired. We encourage you to bring snacks and drinks, preferably vegetarian, and to travel by metro or bus to help minimize our carbon footprint.
